Nitrogen Cycle |
Water Cycle |
Teh nitrogen cycle starts in the ground with ammonia. This is from decaying materials like plants or animals. Plants use the compunds, but are then eaten by animals which turn back into dead material overtime.
|
Water first enters teh ecosystem as precipitation, which goes into water sources liek lakes or ponds. Animals drink from these and plants use them to recieve water for photosynthesis. The water sources evaporate overtime but are usually maintained through runoff water. Transpiration from plants and respiration from animals also puts water back into the air where it condenses to become clouds again.
Carbon CycleCarbon cycle is started by human factories and as a product of animal respiration. Trees will use this carbon in a process called photosynthesis, which creates energy for them. The recycled air is turned into oxygen which animals use. This connects the water and carbon cycle because they need both for pthosynthesis. Old animal waste is pushed underground over time turning into fossils.
